>> The Catholic Church sold the property at 2117 Palolo Ave. in late 2015 to several individuals, including Yi-sun Chiu, who holds the demolition permit for the vacant building. A Newswatch brief Monday said the church still owned the property. Also, the property used to be home to the church’s St. James Mission, which had a food outreach service. The item said it had been site of the basement kitchen for St. Patrick’s Church.
