Prosecutors charged two men with robbery and drug violations Saturday following a robbery in the Diamond Head area.
Police arrested Michael Tavares, 34, of Kaneohe and Kumai Westbrook-Mau, 19, who gave no local address, near Kapiolani Park on Thursday afternoon on suspicion of first-degree robbery after they allegedly threatened and robbed a 28-year-old man at about 3:30 p.m.
Police said they also found narcotics on the suspects after their arrest.
Prosecutors charged the men with second-degree robbery, third-degree possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They were being held on $40,000 bail, pending an initial court appearance Monday.
