The Coast Guard and the Navy are searching for three missing fishermen reported overdue north northwest of Oahu, July 4, 2016. Missing is 30-year-old Jensen Loo, 30-year-old Clint Oshima and 30-year-old Derek Tomas. Their 20-foot fishing vessel Iwa, was spotted overturned by the Coast Guard approximately 25 miles off of Haleiwa Boat Harbor.

Firefighters have recovered two bodies off the shore of Kauai, and they believe they are two of three fishermen who went missing last weekend.

County officials say in a news release the bodies have not been identified, but a life jacket found was from the missing fishermen’s boat.

Kauai firefighters found the male bodies Friday.

The first was found about 4 p.m., about two to three miles off Anahola. The second was spotted about 5:30 p.m. about two miles off Wailua.

Kauai police are working to positively identify the bodies and notify family.

The fishermen went missing last weekend in waters off Oahu’s North Shore.

A boat believed to be the one the fishermen were in also was found.
