Woman sought for allegedly stealing jewelry from Kailua-Kona store

The suspect was wearing a dark T-shirt that had white print across the front and depicted the Hawaiian islands in white on the back right shoulder.

Hawaii island police are looking for a woman wanted for stealing jewelry from a store on Waterfront Row in Kailua-Kona on June 22.

According to police, the woman took a pair of gold earrings with two turtles on double post dangles.

The suspect’s image was caught on surveillance video. She was wearing a dark T-shirt that had white print across the front and depicted the Hawaiian islands in white on the back right shoulder.

Police ask anyone with information about this case or the identity of the person in the photo to call officer Andrew Walters at 326-4646 or the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call CrimeStoppers at 961-8300.
