Man allegedly breaks woman’s nose, wrist in Waikiki assault

A 36-year-old man was arrested Monday after he broke a woman’s nose and wrist during an assault in Waikiki, police said.

The man, who has a Waikiki address, punched the 47-year-old woman numerous times in the face, head, and body about 1 a.m. July 9, police said.

Officers caught up with the man at 8:45 p.m. Monday and arrested him at an Ahihi Street home in Kalihi on suspicion of second-degree assault.
