Hawaii attorney general chosen to head regional conference
Hawaii Attorney General Doug Chin has been chosen as the head of the Conference of Western Attorneys General.
The selection was announced during group’s annual meeting in Idaho this week. Member states and territories include Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Colorado, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
At the same meeting Hawaii Senior Deputy Attorney General Charleen Aina was presented with a public service award.
The conference will hold its next meeting here in March 14-16.
