Homicide detectives have opened an attempted-murder investigation following a traffic incident in Pauoa on Wednesday night.
Police said two men — ages 19 and 62 — and a 48-year-old woman were in a car when they were involved in what was described as a traffic incident with another car at about 8:30 p.m. on Booth Road.
After the incident a man in the other car followed them, the victims told police.
The victims then reported what they thought were gunshots.
No injuries were reported.
Police did not release a description of the suspect or the car he was driving.
The case has been classified as first-degree attempted murder.
