Hawaii, UCLA move up in college volleyball rankings
Saturday’s loss to UCLA did not hurt Hawaii in the national rankings.
In fact, both volleyball teams moved up a spot in today’s AVCA Coaches Top 25.
The Rainbow Wahine (3-3) were at No. 14 while the Bruins (6-0) were seventh.
The top four remained the same, led by unanimous No. 1 Nebraska. The Huskers (4-0) received all 64 first-place votes.
Wisconsin (5-0), which defeated Hawaii in the season opener, stayed at No. 2 followed by Texas (5-1) and Kansas. Minnesota traded place with Washington with the Gophers (3-1) at No. 5 and the Huskies (5-0) at No. 6.
Rounding out the Top 10 were Florida (4-1), Stanford (3-1) and BYU (6-0).

Not a championship year it appears from this juncture.
…AT.
Pretty sure they’ll win the BW championship
I was referring to the far more important national championship.
Agree that this is not a championship year. They were picked to win the Big West but even at that i wouldn’t say its in the bag. I would watch out for UCSB. They already have 5 wins but don’t think they played any ranked team, i know they lost to PIT. We’ll see i belive UH plays UCSB
their first conference match.
Surprised they moved up one spot. Thought for sure they would drop 3-4 spots.
When everyone’s healthy, they’ll be fine.
A good opportunity to see just where the team is will be their match against the Washington Huskies on Sunday. I think the pieces are falling into place.
