Wow!, I have always felt safe at Kahala Mall or anywhere about there. It is frightening that I could be walking out of the mall with my purchases and have someone pull-knife on me!

With Obama and the climate change conference in Waikiki and the Blaisdell Center not long ago, the homeless and transients were chased out of the area and some started hanging out in the Kahala area. They found a target rich environment to jack complacent residents walking in the area who might be carrying cash, expensive watches or jewelry or expensive Iphones.
