The retail landscape in Kapolei seems to change and improve on a weekly basis.
Friday brought grand openings of Macy’s and California Pizza Kitchen at Ka Makana Alii, a 1.4-million-square-foot regional shopping center in Kapolei.
On Wednesday, the state’s first Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton also opened at the mall.
Slated to open Oct. 21 are an upscale Consolidated Theatres with luxury recliners, along with H&M, Forever 21 and Old Navy.
Kapolei can no longer be described as a sleepy bedroom community. Businesses are thriving, consumers are thrilled and the mall’s revenue will support the construction of thousands of new homes for Native Hawaiians. Sounds like a win-win-win.
