Kalihi man accused of assaulting officer trying to arrest him after fight
A 42-year-old Kalihi man is in custody after he allegedly assaulted a police officer Monday who was trying to arrest him following a fight.
The incident occurred at 12:20 p.m. at a Meyers Street home after the suspect allegedly punched a 40-year-old woman several times in the face, threw her on a bed and choked her.
Besides being arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault of a law enforcement officer, the suspect also faces charges of abuse, resisting arrest and several outstanding contempt warrants.

I wish the guy had a knife or gun in hand so HPD could have shot him dead. LOSE MONEY!
So is the one he punched and choked the cop or the original fight? Really need better writers at this paper.
You assault a police officer it should be mandatory jail time.
Lucky for him the cops didn’t send him to the emergency room…
