>> Hawaii’s Department of Education has 256 traditional schools and 34 charter schools, not 255 and 33, respectively, as was stated in Friday’s editorial on Page A14. Also, Hawaii’s Common Core curricula for English language arts and math were implemented in school year 2013-14, with new science standards statewide targeted for 2019; the editorial had given a 2018 start for all three subjects.

>> Surgical Suites in Honolulu was inspected by the state Department of Health this year and in 2013. A Page B1 story Sunday listed Surgical Suites as having its last inspection in 2010, based on department records.
