Big Island firefighters respond to structure fire in Keauhou
Hawaii County Fire Department reported Sunday that the Keauhou Fire Company responded to structure fire Saturday night in the Keauhou district on Hawaii Island.
First responders got to the scene of the fire at 10:23 p.m. The fire was extinguished at 12:20 a.m.
A single story residential wood structure was fully engulfed in flames when the Keauhou Fire Company responded.
The structures roof collapsed, according to the report. No one was harmed, as the one person in the structure was able to leave unharmed.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
