A high surf advisory has been extended for the east-facing shores until Sunday at 6 p.m., the National Weather Service said.
The advisory covers the east shores of Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Maui and the Big Island.
Surf is expected to be 6 to 10-feet high and gradually weaken early next week.
