Let’s hope tonight’s game isn’t Warriors’ last
It’s been a season of fits and starts, ups and downs, for the University of Hawaii football team — and it wraps up with tonight’s senior night finale at Aloha Stadium against Massachusetts. Or does it?
Fans are rooting for a win, of course, which would notch the Rainbow Warriors to a regular-season 6-7 record. That would be a boost after last season’s 3-10 — and just might be good enough to qualify for a berth in the post-season Hawaii Bowl.
But one step at a time. Getting past the UMass Minutemen (2-9) is Job 1 tonight, followed by the after-game “Senior Walk” tradition. Kudos to the Warriors and first-year head coach Nick Rolovich for a spirited season.
