Island Air reported Thursday that 88.2 percent of its flights in November arrived on schedule and that it completed 100 percent of its 1,020 scheduled flights with no cancellations.
A flight is considered “on time” by the U.S. Department of Transportation if it arrives within 14 minutes of its scheduled arrival times.
The state’s second-largest carrier offers 238 flights a week between Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii island.
Buffalo Wild Wings mall opening delayed
La Tour Cafe will be able to tap into some of the holiday shopping rush at Windward Mall with an opening slated for Tuesday, but a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, previously expected to open this month at the Kaneohe mall, is delayed until Jan. 9.
The mall provided an update on new tenants Thursday.
A third tenant addition will be plus-size women’s clothing retailer Torrid, expected to open early next year.
U.S. consumer prices up 0.2% in November
WASHINGTON >> Consumer prices rose in November by the smallest amount in three months as the climb in energy prices moderated a bit and food prices remained flat.
The Labor Department said Thursday that its consumer price index increased 0.2 percent last month after a 0.4 percent October increase.

Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert has hired Veronica A. Nordyke as an associate for the firm’s Trial & Appellate Litigation, Arbitration & Mediation practice group.
