Silverswords sign 4 in volleyball
Kalaheo setter Riley Lynch, who helped the Mustangs to four consecutive state tournament berths, is one of four players who signed with Chaminade.
Lynch, who moved to setter after three seasons as an outside hitter, ranked fourth in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I in assists (110) and was fifth in service aces (15).
Joining Lynch in coach Kahala Kabalis Hoke’s recruiting class are: Rachel Reedy, a 5-foot-11 opposite from Arcadia (Calif.) High who helped the Apaches (28-2) to a Pacific Division title en route to being named the division’s tri-player of the year; Danielle Wiley, a 5-10 setter from Centennial (Ariz.) High who led the Coyotes to the Division 5A state title; and Claire Zanon, a 5-10 hitter from Portland, Ore., where her Jesuit High was 151-7 during her four varsity seasons and was undefeated when winning Oregon 6A state championships in 2014 and ‘15.
