A 54-year-old man was in critical condition Saturday after being struck by a van on Kapiolani Boulevard, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
The driver was Ewa-bound on Kapiolani when the van hit the man near Atkinson Drive at about 9:30 p.m. Paramedics treated the man for head, left hand, and left leg injuries and took him to the hospital.
He was near a crosswalk, the report said.
