The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame announced the five finalists for the 2016 Polynesian Pro Football Player of the Year Award.
The five finalists are Mike Iupati of the Arizona Cardinals, Star Lotuleilei of the Carolina Panthers, Marcus Mariota of the Tennessee Titans, Danny Shelton of the Cleveland Browns, and Larry Warford of the Detroit Lions.
The award recognizes the most outstanding professional football player of Polynesian ancestry. Iupati was selected as the recipient of last year’s inaugural award.
