Woman detains robbery suspect in Honolulu

A 53-year-old woman detained today a 55-year-old woman who allegedly robbed her on Dec. 23 at her Honolulu home.

Police said the older woman and a man allegedly robbed the 53-year-old at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 23. The pair allegedly took some of her belongings and fled.

The two returned to the home today and allegedly assaulted the woman.

The woman was able to hold the female suspect until police arrived.

Police arrested her on suspicion of second-degree robbery.
