Disney show to air Hawaii-themed episode

    “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” a madcap car racing adventure for preschoolers featuring Mickey Mouse and his pals: Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Daisy and Donald, takes the Sensational Six and their uniquely personalized vehicles on humorous high-spirited races around the globe plus hometown capers in Hot Dog Hills.

Disney’s new animated series “Mickey and the Roadster Racers” will feature a Hawaii-themed episode at 9 a.m. Jan. 27 on Disney Channel.

In the episode “It’s Wiki Wiki Time/Happy Hula Helpers,” Mickey Mouse and the rest of the gang interrupt Donald’s Hawaii vacation by arriving for a relay race. Minnie and Daisy teach hula in preparation for a birthday celebration.

The show is aimed at kids ages 2 to 7.

The new series, which premiered Jan. 15, features classic Disney characters racing transforming vehicles in an adventure around the globe.
