Connor Looney scored 22 points and Chauncey Orr added 21 as the No. 14 Hawaii Pacific men’s basketball team beat host Hawaii Hilo 102-88 on Saturday.
Elliott DeFreitas had 15 points and Jordan Martin finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Division II Sharks (18-1, 10-1 PacWest), who won their sixth straight game.
Parker Ferris scored 26 points and Eric Wattree III added 15 for the Vulcans (6-10, 4-6), who led 48-41 at halftime.

BYU-Hawaii women hold off Holy Names
Marian Sheikh scored 14 points and Kristin Baldwin had 14 rebounds as the Brigham Young-Hawaii women’s basketball team held off Holy Names 54-53 on Saturday at the Cannon Activities Center.
The Seasiders (8-8, 5-5 PacWest) held a 45-30 rebounding advantage.
Jeana Magana scored 16 points for the Hawks (1-16, 1-10).
> Jessi Reeves scored 15 points and Breanna Mackenzie finished with 15 rebounds and six steals as Hawaii Pacific defeated host Hawaii Hilo 56-47.
Janessa Manzano added 11 points for the Sharks (12-3, 9-1 PacWest), who extended their winning streak to six games.
Vanessa Mancera scored 13 points and Asia Smith had 13 rebounds for the Vulcans (4-9, 4-6).
Track camp features Olympic, world champs
A lineup of track and field stars will provide instruction at the University of Hawaii on Feb. 11-12.
World Record Camps features Olympic and world champions Michelle Carter (throws), Willie Banks (triple jump), Dick Fosbury (high jump), Tom Hintnaus (pole vault), Andre Phillips (hurdles), Jacqueline Hansen (distance), Mike Powell (long jump) and Gregg Simmons (sprints).

Dulay claims two events at track meet
The University of Hawaii’s Tristen Dulay won two events at the season-opening track and field meet Saturday at windy and rainy Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.
Dulay claimed the 60 meters in 7.88 seconds and the 150 meters in 18.87.
Nine other Rainbow Wahine each won one event.
UH water polo team wins two matches
The No. 5 University of Hawaii water polo team won both its matches Saturday at the UCSB Winter Invitational in Santa Barbara, Calif.
In the first match, Femke Aan scored three goals in the Rainbow Wahine’s 13-10 victory over Marist. Chloe Barr, Nikki-Marie Bell and Hannah Thompson each added two goals for Hawaii.
In the second match, Barr, Julia Barton and Claire Nixon each scored two goals in Hawaii’s 8-5 win over UC San Diego.
The Rainbow Wahine improved to 3-0.
UH diving coaches at Honolulu QB Club
University of Hawaii head diving coach Mike Brown and his assistant coach and wife Anita Rossing will be the featured speakers at the Honolulu Quarterback Club Monday at Maple Garden Restaurant.
Lunch is at 11:30 a.m. and the program will follow. The cost is $16 and the public is invited.
