Hawaii women’s track and field Coach Carmyn James and women’s soccer coach Michele “Bud” Nagamine will speak at the Honolulu Quarterback Club today.
James begins her 16th season as head coach and just returned from the University of Washington Invitational in Seattle with her 17-member squad. She’ll discuss her team’s challenges at the event and talk about her new recruits.
Nagamine recently completed her sixth season as head coach for the Rainbow Wahine. Her team finished with its most wins since 2007 with a 9-6-2 record. Nagamine will provide updates on her current players, new recruits, and the team’s planned trip to Spain.
The luncheon will start at 11:30 a.m. at Maple Garden restaurant. The cost is $16.
