Art and conservation come together at a live auction to benefit marine awareness at Kakaako Agora from 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 10.

More than 20 artists from Hawaii, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the U.S. will auction their original artwork and limited-edition prints to benefit the Hawaii chapter of the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation. Among the participating artists are Ka‘ili Kaulukukui, Solomon Enos, Wyland and Yoskay Yamamoto.

Festivities include live portrait painting by a local artist and a 5 p.m. workshop on making art from marine debris. The live auction begins at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds help support the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary’s whale disentanglement and marine conservation education and outreach programs.
