A 51-year-old Honolulu police officer pleaded not guilty Thursday to theft and identity theft allegations.
Khanh Le appeared at his Circuit Court arraignment for charges of second-degree theft, unauthorized possession of confidential personal information, third-degree identity theft, second-degree forgery, fraudulent use of a credit card and credit card theft.
His trial is set for the week of May 15.
Police arrested Le on March 10 after he allegedly stole items valued at more than $750 at the Navy Exchange at Pearl Harbor.
Le, a 12-year veteran of the Police Department assigned has been placed on leave without pay.
