Members of the UH baseball team helped the grounds crew in covering the pitcher’s mound as rain fell before the start of tonight’s game against UC Davis.
Tonight’s baseball game between Hawaii and UC Davis has been rained out.
It has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader Saturday at Les Murakami Stadium. The first game will start at 3 p.m.
Heavy rain began shortly after the home-plate area was lined. The game was canceled after a 30-minute wait.
