A 63-year-old man has been charged for allegedly threatening to ignite a flammable liquid in a Kaneohe home while two women were inside the residence.

Elmer K. Drew was charged Thursday with attempted first-degree arson. Police said his bail is set at $100,000.

Drew allegedly made the threat against the two women, ages 36 and 60, at about 12:50 p.m. Wednesday.

Police were called and arrested Drew at an Auna Street home on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening and a $500 warrant.
