A 23-year-old man has been charged for allegedly stabbing another man in Makiki.

Ak Yos was charged Thursday with attempted second-degree murder and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Police said Yos and a 35-year-old man were involved in an argument at a Kinau Street address.

The argument escalated and Yos stabbed the victim, police said. Emergency Medical Services said the victim walked to Foodland on South Beretania Street where paramedics responded and transported him to Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition.
