Edward Yamasaki was the chief editor and one of many writers contributing to recollections in the book “And Then There Were Eight,” about the 442nd Regimental Combat Team. Yamasaki was incorrectly named as author in his obituary in the May 5 edition on Page B3. Also, Yamasaki’s birth date is May 12, 1924, not May 15, 1924.
