Late-nighters hungry for substance will find an elegant solution with a new $25 Steak Frites & Cab special at 12th Ave Grill.
The deal comprises a 12-ounce pan-seared Hawaii Ranchers New York strip loin with compound butter, a glass of Paso Robles Broadside cabernet and hand-cut fries, offered from 8:30 p.m. to closing Mondays to Thursdays.
The restaurant is also hosting a California Dreaming dinner, part of its Wine Speak series, 6:30 p.m. May 26, highlighting vintages from the Golden State.
The menu will feature blue crab arancini (with a 2014 Stonestreet Estate sauvignon blanc), cedar plank-roasted salmon on summer succotash (2012 Hartford Court Russian River Valley pinot noir, MacLean’s Block), a main course of grilled steak bavette with chimichurri and wagyu foie gras burger (with two 2012 Silver Oak cabernet sauvignons, from Alexander Valley and Napa Valley).
