To help meet this goal, the public has several opportunities to donate their pre-made lei and share their lei-making skills or materials. At Honolulu Hale, the City hosted its annual Sew a Lei for Memorial Day event. During the event, people dropped off fresh flowers or lei (measuring 22” to 24” in length) and/or attended lessons on how to make lei, and helped to make lei. This is the 2017 Lei Queen, Puamohala Kaholokula dancing a hula for the volunteers who are making lei at Honolulu Hale.

Anaha tower in Ward Village. The pool, which cantilevers 75 feet high
in the air over the building's plaza, is scheduled to be filled sometime
