Speed was a factor in a motorcycle crash this morning on the H-3 Freeway in Kaneohe that left a man in critical condition, police said.
A 22-year-old Kailua man was heading Kaneohe-bound on the freeway when he lost control and struck a guardrail at about 9:20 a.m., police said.
The man, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
