The Polynesian Voyaging Society has unveiled the design of the commemorative T-shirt by Honolulu artist Nick Black to be sold at welcome-home events for the Hokule‘a.

The double-hull sailing canoe is expected to make landfall at Magic Island on June 17, completing its three-year circumnavigation of the planet.

The cotton shirts, in white or blue, are $15 to $20 and will be available only at Hokule‘a homecoming events. Proceeds will help support the nonprofit organization. For a list of events, visit 808ne.ws/2qFY5me.
