Police are investigating an attempted sex assault case involving a 31-year-old woman in Kalihi.
At about 1:15 a.m. Monday, the woman reported to police that an adult male suspect entered her tent on North King Street, threatened her with a deadly weapon and attempted to sexually assault her.
The victim’s friend intervened and stopped the man. Police said the suspect fled the area, and that no arrests have been made.
