Power outage that put 1,214 HECO customers in the dark is now restored

Areas without power earlier tonight included Aiea, the airport, Aliamanu, Foster Village, Halawa, Mapunapuna and Salt Lake.
At 7:46 p.m., about 1,214 Hawaiian Electric Co. customers were without power mauka of the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.
The outage affected the areas of Aiea, the airport, Aliamanu, Foster Village, Halawa, Mapunapuna and Salt Lake.
Crews restored power at 8:41 p.m.
