Thunder Baseball won two games Thursday to advance to the championship game of the Babe Ruth 14U Pacific Southwest Regional in Surprise, Ariz.
In the first game, Chansten Morgia tossed three innings with four strikeouts and Josh Fournier scored twice in the Thunder’s 10-0 six-inning victory over Yuma, Ariz.
In the second game, DJ Akiyama batted 4-for-4 with three runs and two RBIs as the Thunder beat Torrance, Calif., 14-5.
The Thunder (4-1) will play Orcutt, Calif., today for the title. The Thunder need to win twice to advance.

Tyler Shimabukuro allowed one run over 41⁄3 innings for Oahu.
On Wednesday, Kade Morihara batted 4-for-4 with three runs and four RBIs and Makana Murashige scored four runs in Oahu’s 9-3 victory over Tri-Valley, Calif.
Oahu (3-0) will play for the title Saturday against an opponent to be determined.

Justin Tsukada scored twice for Oahu.
On Wednesday, Oahu beat Westchester, Calif., 12-2, in five innings.
Joey Wilson drove in five runs and Tsukada added four RBIs for Oahu.
Oahu (2-1) will play an elimination game today against Madera, Calif., or Westchester.
