UCLA football coach Jim Mora says he is quickly moving past the Bruins’ school-record comeback victory over Texas A&M and on to Saturday’s game with Hawaii at the Rose Bowl.

The Bruins rallied from a 44-10 deficit to beat the Aggies, 45-44, in their season opener Sunday.

It was the greatest comeback in UCLA annals and the second-biggest in NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision history, trailing only Michigan State’s comeback from a 35-point deficit against Northwestern in 2006.

“In terms of enjoying it, we had to get right on to Hawaii,” Mora said on the Pac-12 media conference call today. “You know we have a short week so…after any win there is euphoria but you’ve got to learn to how flush it pretty quickly and really look at what happened in the game and why it happened and break it down that way.”

Mora said, “So, I’m happy, of course. I was happy. I love the win (and) I hate to lose but you gotta come back to earth really really quickly in competitive athletics or you are going to get your butt kicked the next week.”

The Bruins are 23-point favorites over UH (2-0) on Las Vegas betting lines.
