Police search for suspect in Waipahu stabbing
A man was in serious condition today after being stabbed near a fast food restaurant in Waipahu, police said.
The 50-year-old man was in a confrontation with an acquaintance when he was injured at about 2:15 a.m., police said. The suspect remained at large.
Paramedics treated the man at the Jack in the Box, 94-866 Moloala St., for multiple stab wounds to the body and took him to a hospital in serious condition, an Emergency Medical Services report said.
Police have opened an attempted murder investigation.
