The Daughters of Hawai‘i hosted the 41st annual Day at Queen Emma Summer Palace on Sept. 23. The event included hula performances and music by the Royal Hawaiian Band, Naluhoe, Weldon Kekauoha, Jerry Santos and Kualoa, food, local artisans and live demonstrations of poi pounding, lau hala weaving and kapa making.
