Authorities seek help identifying body of man found in Haleakala park

Maui police and the National Parks Service are asking the public for help in identifying the body of a man found in Kipahulu in September.

Police said the body is described as that of a Caucasian man in his late 20s to early 40s. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Gordon Sagun at 244-6434 or email Gordon.Sagun@mpd.net or the Maui Police Department at 244-6400. Please refer to report #17-038509.
