Parts of Shower Drive will be closed Saturday, and parts of Pohaku Drive closed Sunday, for the Keaau-Pahoa Road should lane conversion project in Hawaiian Paradise Park, according to the state Department of Transportation.
From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Shower Drive will be closed to through traffic from Keaau-Pahoa Road (Highway 130) to 28th Avenue. From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Pohaku Drive from Keaau-Pahoa Road (Highway 130) to Pohaku Circle will be closed to through traffic.
Expect a lane shift on Keaau-Pahoa Road in both directions in the vicinity of the Shower Drive/Pohaku Drive intersection during construction.
Electronic message boards will be posted in the area of the planned closures.
