Pali Highway closures scheduled for November
A portion of Pali Highway is scheduled for overnight closures on two Saturday nights in November for routine tunnel maintenance and cleaning, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The Pali Highway will be closed in the Honolulu-bound direction between Waokanaka Street and Kamehameha Highway from 7 p.m. Saturday night to 7 a.m. Nov. 5. It will also be closed in the Kaneohe-bound direction from 7 p.m. Nov. 18 to 7 a.m. Nov. 19.
The closure times are tentative, said the transportation department, and the highway may be opened earlier if crews complete the work before the stated time. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes such as the H-3 freeway, Likelike Highway and Kalanianaole Highway.
