The University of Hawaii announced its inaugural Big West schedule for the men’s volleyball program on Tuesday. The Rainbow Warriors will open the 2018 season on Jan. 4 in the Texaco Rainbow Warrior Classic against Stevens Institute at the Stan Sheriff Center. UH will also host the Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger Classic (Feb. 1-3) and the 24th Outrigger Resorts Invitational (March 8-10) featuring BYU, Penn State and Lewis.

The Warriors will continue to play traditional two-match series in the Big West with their first conference matchup against UC Irvine on Feb. 23 and 25. UH will also host UC San Diego (March 30-31) and Long Beach State (April 13-14), and travels to CSUN (March 15-16) and UC Santa Barbara (April 6-7). The Big West tournament is set for April 19-21 in Long Beach, Calif.
