The annual Honolulu City Lights holiday display returns to the grounds of Honolulu Hale next month, and once again Ward Village is offering daily trolley rides departing from the former Ward Warehouse location on Auahi St. from Dec. 3 through Dec. 30. No rides will take place on Christmas Day.

Ward Village’s popular Honolulu City Lights Trolley returns for another run of holiday fun from Dec. 3 through Dec. 30.

Tickets went on sale this week for the trolley rides, which are 30 minutes long and depart from the usual stop outside what used to be Ward Warehouse on Auahi Street in Kakaako. Trolleys will leave approximately every 20 minutes from 6:30 to 9 p.m. daily (except Christmas).

Guests are asked to arrive at the trolley stop no later than 10 minutes before their scheduled departure; no exchanges or refunds will be given for latecomers or lost tickets. No food, drinks or pets are allowed on the trolleys.

Tickets, priced at $7.75, are available online at holidaylightstour.com; children 3 and under are free when sitting on a paying passenger’s lap. As of Tuesday afternoon, seats were still available but selling at a brisk pace.

Free valet parking will be available at the Ward Farmer’s Market parking lot on weekends only during mall hours through Dec. 10, then daily during mall hours from Dec. 15 through Dec. 31.
