Signs of Hawaiian Life, Nov. 26
While on a recent trip to visit family in Mirabella, Italy, the Bruhl-Ciani-Kerwin family went to the Aloha Gelateria. The owner said she loved “Magnum, P.I.” so much that when she opened this shop in the ’80s, she named it after Hawaii. They were closed that day but opened the store “just for us — because we were from Hawaii!!” Pictured are, back row, Brad Kerwin, left, Alan Mattson, Adrian Kerwin, Anita Bruhl, Bob Bruhl, Carladora Ciani, Malcolm Bruhl, Isa Ciani; second row, Lynda Bruhl Kerwin, left, Raegan Bruhl, Mollie Bruhl, Dave D’Anna; front row, Glacco Ciani, left, Carladora Ciani.
