Police seek identity of slingshot-wielding thief and accomplice

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men involved in a theft at a Longs Drugs in Honolulu.

The men entered the store on South King Street at about 12:55 a.m. Oct. 24, police said. One allegedly fled from the store with stolen items.

As he was being chased, the man shot an employee with a slingshot, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
