Hawaii Hilo men topple Concordia

Trey Ingram scored 26 points, Denhym Brooke added 18 points and 13 rebounds and Devin Johnson had 17 points as the Hawaii Hilo men’s basketball team beat Concordia 90-84 on Monday at UHH gym.

The Vulcans (3-4, 2-0 PacWest) went on an 11-2 run to take an 83-76 lead with 3:09 left.

JT Roach finished with 20 points for the Eagles (8-3, 2-1).

>> In the women’s game, Safia Sheikh scored 13 points and Amber Vaughan added 10, but Hawaii Hilo lost to Concordia 61-51.

The Vulcans (2-2, 1-1 PacWest) had four players foul out and did not make a field goal over the final five and a half minutes.

Kennedy Fulcher scored 15 points for the Eagles (5-2,3-0).
