Gas leak closes part of Kalakaua Avenue near convention center

Two Waikiki-bound lanes of Kalakaua Avenue were closed this afternoon due to a gas leak, police said.
Two Waikiki-bound lanes of Kalakaua Avenue were closed near the Hawaii Convention Center this afternoon because of a gas leak, police said.
The closure was reported at about 1:50 p.m. Police said the road was fully reopened shortly before 4 p.m.
