A 64-year-old woman died Friday on a Honolulu-bound flight from Portland, Ore.

Sometime between 9:45 and 11:45 a.m., the woman went unresponsive due to a medical condition while aboard Alaska Airlines Flight 833, Honolulu police said.

Lifesaving measures were given but were unsuccessful.

Police said there were no signs of foul play, and the woman was pronounced dead at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

According to the website Flightview, Flight 833 departed from Portland at 5:14 a.m. Hawaii time and arrived at the gate at 11:03 a.m.

An unattended-death case has been opened.
