HCC offers copper ‘forever roses’ for Valentine’s Day

CRAIG T. KOJIMA / 2015

Honolulu Community College students studying sheet metal and plastics technology continue the program’s annual tradition of creating and selling unique “forever roses” made from copper.

Express everlasting love for your valentine with an everlasting rose made by students in Honolulu Community College’s sheet metal and plastics program.

In a departure from their usual industrial-focused fabrications, the students craft the “forever roses” from copper. They can be purchased from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Valentine’s Day, for $15 each or four for $50 at HCC’s Building 17, 874 Dillingham Blvd.
